I aspire to be an informative broadcast news reporter and producer. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in broadcast journalism and public affairs at the American University School of Communication.
I have experience reporting on variety of topics, including geographic beats and national politics on Capitol Hill. I am a published reporter with stories highlighted in The Wash, an American University School of Communication student publication.
I have advanced audio and video editing skills using Adobe Creative Suite and Pro Tools..
The experiences that led to being a journalist include over 20 years as a U.S. Army active duty military officer in which I led soldiers and managed construction projects world-wide. I am also the founder of Integrity Construction Services, a successful general contracting firm supporting government agencies in the Washington DC area with construction and renovation services.
I am interested and focused in reporting all types of television news, particularly in investigative news broadcasting.
